UIR has taught me how to use the Internet resources efficiently. There are different types of search engines like meta-search engines, subject directories. These functions allows me to search for information using keywords and getting the result in seconds. It is also available to anyone at anytime, which is very convenient. Going to the library and look for relevant books would be a hassle nowadays.
